Gisaf is very very slow, problem started this week (from 16 may 2022) and it is very difficult to conduct any operation on it. Even entering the latest rainfall data was not possible
GIS - Support #13883 (Resolved): Gisaf not responding - Possible issue with tag editing?https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/138832022-04-07T12:12:40ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

This morning Raj was editing some tags for platforms. Selvarani noticed that when Raj works on tags, then Gisaf stops responding. There could be a link between the two things...
Thanks
Gisaf - Support #13642 (Resolved): Electrical problems: Server downhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/136422022-02-12T07:00:24ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Dear Philippe, this morning the solar panels did not recharge enough the batteries because since yesterday the sky has been overcast. The problem is that even TNEB was tripping, so the server went on and off repeatedly. Vijai is on leave, and we could not do much.
But of course now the server is down.
Can you please help?

Thanks

Dear Philippe,
today there was some problem with electric power supply, and the server went down.
Selvarani tried to switch it back on but it does not work

Thanks
Gisaf - Support #9592 (Resolved): Follow up migration https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/95922020-01-18T14:34:20ZPhilippe May

There was a hectic migration of gisdb to bullseye, postgres 12, postGis 3.

The upgrade-cluster tool didn't work, so i went with re-creating the DB, importing from backup.

But, roles were not set (only avgis). Gisaf frontend works with the new setup.

See the file ~postgres/import_postgres_12_prod_output for the errors.

Also, need to check:

- "cron" jobs
- jupyter
- backups
Gisaf - Documentation #9552 (Resolved): Weekly resampling - Starts on mondayshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/95522020-01-09T04:18:38ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

After checking data from Charlie in Aurogreen, and resampling them weekly, it comes out that for example in august 2019, there is a week tagged as "18 August" in the graph, with a total rainfall of 114.8 mm, and a following week tagged as "25 AUgust" with a total rainfall of 47.6 mm. Cross checking all data from Charlie, specifically for those two weeks, the total rainfall from 12 august to 18 august matches the resampled total for the week (114.8 mm), as well as the total rainfall from 19 august to 25 august matches the resampled total for the week (47.6 mm).
Both 12 and 19 of august were mondays.
Thus the weekly resampling starts on mondays and ends on sundays.
Geomatic studio models for Gisaf - Task #8096 (Resolved): Creating a Gkpg/shp for elevation point...https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/80962019-04-16T06:06:31ZPavneet Kaurkaur.pavneet22@gmail.com

After discussions with Giulio and seeing the sinks as the outlet points, I would like to explore connecting the sinks to get a drainage network.
GIS - Bug #7957 (Feedback): Export polygon shapefiles do not show "holes"https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/79572019-03-23T11:22:05ZPushparaj Muthukrishnan

the initial description of this ticket was: "Roof is again mismatch in maduca and Maitreye 3".

Actually, the problem is with exporting polygon layers: the inside polygons, which should define the "holes", are shown in plain color.
Geomatic studio models for Gisaf - Task #7936 (Resolved): Add the wastewater type to the originhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/79362019-03-19T05:19:33ZMeera Natarajan

The "old admin" is hosted on the "old" virtual machine, that was used originally.

That was migrated to Debian 9 some time ago, so we can now migrate this installation to the same VM on which the main gisaf runs, smoothing the integration of "old admin" and the main gisaf, also freeing resources on the bare server and easing server management.
Gisaf - Task #6069 (Resolved): wwtp output and flow component - outputhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/60692018-06-22T05:09:28ZJeanne Latusek
