Redmine GIS - Support #14895 (New): Backup the whole serverhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/148952023-03-18T09:08:20ZPhilippe May

After discussion with Giulio and Tency, we agreed to set in place a backup of the full server on a USB drive.
GIS - Support #14362 (Resolved): Gisaf/server unreachablehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/143622022-08-03T07:03:28ZPhilippe May

As received from Giulio this morning by mail/matrix.

I could not connect from remote, so visit on site.
GIS - Feature #14306 (New): Cannot connect from QGishttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/143062022-07-18T09:09:52ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Today I tried to connect QGis to the PostGIS layers in Gisaf, as usual.
But I got the error message as in the attached screenshot
GIS - Support #13763 (Resolved): Gisaf not respondinghttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/137632022-03-09T10:15:45ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Dear Philippe,
I see that Gisaf is not responding right now, it is not connecting and the list of layer is also weird (see screenshot 1 attached). This morning also it did not work, but in a different way: the list of layer was always loading but not showing... I could not take a screenshot because I was not in the office on someone else's laptop...

Sorry but I don't really know how better to explain the issue...
GIS - Bug #13132 (Resolved): CSR Weather station missing data 28 nd 29 Otober 2021https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/131322021-10-29T11:14:21ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

From 5:00 pm on the 28th of October 2021, till 12:00 noon on the 29th of october 2021, the dashboard for CSR Weather station does not show any data.
Any idea why? Could the data be retrieved somehow?
GIS - Support #11898 (New): Add Aurogreen Weather Station https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/118982021-03-17T06:40:29ZPhilippe May

There's a AmbientWeather station in Aurogreen: https://ambientweather.net/dashboard/612e02813cbcd43451d4e9509c98218f

That would be nice to incorporate the data in Gisaf.
GIS - Documentation #11506 (New): Article on wells levels graphshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/115062020-12-21T11:11:08ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Attached an article on wells levels graphs and their interpretation.
Bibliographic reference:
Raj, P. (2004). Classification and interpretation of piezometer well hydrographs in parts of southeastern peninsular India. Environmental Geology, 46(6-7), 808–819. doi:10.1007/s00254-004-1031-2
GIS - Feature #11486 (New): Button Labels for wells detailshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/114862020-12-21T04:56:02ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

The labels of the new buttons for the wells details are right now not clear: in fact the labels "Extra 1" / "Extra 2", or "Pump 1" / "Pump 2", or "Management 1" / "Management 2" confuses the user who does not know what the numbers 1 and 2 refer to.
These numbers refer to the records for each of these tables, so if there are 3 records in Extra, 1 having Harvest and 2 having CSR Geomatics as sources, then all the 3 records will be displayed, as "Extra 1", "Extra 2", and "Extra 3". So we cannot say for instance "Extra H" meaning extra info from Harvest, and the other records as "Extra CSR" meaning extra info from CSR Geomatics, because we might have 2 or more extra info from CSR Geomatics.
GIS - Bug #10862 (New): Fix the issues resulted from import point bughttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/108622020-08-30T09:19:30ZPhilippe May

The WS has moved to a proper location (3m high pole).

The data stored until today (17/6/2019), except for rainfall, should be removed from the DB.
GIS - Bug #7554 (Resolved): Cannot auto import points for project RZhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/75542019-02-04T10:59:11ZPhilippe May

Server seems to hang
GIS - Support #7343 (Resolved): Add layer for locationshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/73432018-12-28T11:48:46ZPhilippe May

Follow up with a discussion and request for Deoyani, WRT identification of cadastral data
GIS - Support #6990 (Resolved): Create a VM for Notebookshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/69902018-10-30T07:18:14ZPhilippe May

We have identified that the gis.csr.av domU has issues with the file system. It switches to read only at times (heavy load).

In order to mitigate the risks, the notebook server should be hosted in its own virtual machine (domU).

Beside, the plan is to install Gisaf/asyncio on it, in order to get notebooks compliant with the new Gisaf API.
GIS - Support #6954 (Resolved): Create a VM for DBhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/69542018-10-23T11:06:12ZPhilippe May

We have identified that the gis.csr.av domU has issues with the file system. It switches to read only at times (heavy load).

In order to mitigate the risks for the database (which is now used for, eg, polling weather station data), the database should be hosted in its own virtual machine (domU).
GIS - Support #6494 (Resolved): Add CC copyright on datahttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/64942018-08-22T05:25:53ZPhilippe May
