Redmine GIS - Support #13982 (Resolved): Update server's storagehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/139822022-04-28T11:50:44ZPhilippe May

The storage management needs to be updated. There's now an SSD on the server after a failure of HDD, and the partitioning of the setup needs review and update.
GIS - Bug #13132 (Resolved): CSR Weather station missing data 28 nd 29 Otober 2021https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/131322021-10-29T11:14:21ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

From 5:00 pm on the 28th of October 2021, till 12:00 noon on the 29th of october 2021, the dashboard for CSR Weather station does not show any data.
Any idea why?
The WS has moved to a proper location (3m high pole).

The data stored until today (17/6/2019), except for rainfall, should be removed from the DB.
GIS - Feature #7763 (Feedback): Infrastructure: migrate old-admin to the same server than gisafhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/77632019-02-25T05:26:59ZPhilippe May

The "old admin" is hosted on the "old" virtual machine, that was used originally.

That was migrated to Debian 9 some time ago, so we can now migrate this installation to the same VM on which the main gisaf runs, smoothing the integration of "old admin" and the main gisaf, also freeing resources on the bare server and easing server management.
GIS - Bug #7554 (Resolved): Cannot auto import points for project RZhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/75542019-02-04T10:59:11ZPhilippe May

Dear Giulio,
Currently we are not transmitting the data that we receive on the gateway to an external server (such as one that Philppe manages) because we are in the testing phase.
However, when we are actually transmitting the data to a server that Philppe or someone manages, then we need two things
1. A cloud server and software that forwards the data to Water Group server. (To be managed by Talam)
2. A software which will receive the data and store it on the server managed by Philppe.
In one of the early discussions, I had mentioned both these two tasks and a cost of Rs.1000/month for #1 but couldn't find any record in emails.
So I'm stating this by email so that both task #1 and #2 are noted by all of us. Please let me know if you need any clarification on these two tasks.

System (bare metal, domUs are kinda OK) is slow, etc: top shows ~100% of kworker on the dom0.
GIS - Support #6990 (Resolved): Create a VM for Notebookshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/69902018-10-30T07:18:14ZPhilippe May

We have identified that the gis.csr.av domU has issues with the file system. It switches to read only at times (heavy load).

In order to mitigate the risks, the notebook server should be hosted in its own virtual machine (domU).

Beside, the plan is to install Gisaf/asyncio on it, in order to get notebooks compliant with the new Gisaf API.
GIS - Support #6954 (Resolved): Create a VM for DBhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/69542018-10-23T11:06:12ZPhilippe May
