Redmine Gisaf - Support #10364 (New): Reconcile the reconciliationshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/103642020-06-17T11:57:26ZPhilippe May

There were almost 2500 point reconciliations done, but few issues in the reconciliations left the database with some issues:

gisaf_survey.raw_survey.category was not updated. This can be done thanks to data stored in gisaf_admin.reconciliation

the point layers (final, WGS84) were updated (old removed and new created), but not the raw survey table

documentation is wrong/misleading, as it shows that reconciliation is done for raw survey only (https://redmine.auroville.org.in/projects/gis/wiki/Survey_data)

Gisaf - Support #10214 (New): Multiple Reconciliations https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/102142020-05-27T10:42:35ZSelvarani C

For example "Point 935320899 was already reconciled to avsm_survey.V_ROAD_IFSR. It's currently not possible to reconcile again, sorry. Fill a ticket if you need to do this."
Gisaf - Bug #10140 (New): Admin: sort out manager rolehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/101402020-05-19T10:49:25ZPhilippe May

"manager" role is needed to access anything under the "Manage" section of the admin.

This is mixed up with the same "manager" role, which was defined earlier as the role for managing users and permissions.
Gisaf - Feature #9789 (New): Login: put in a dialoghttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/97892020-02-27T22:58:10ZPhilippe MayGisaf - Bug #9603 (New): Map: clean memory after removing layerhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/96032020-01-20T07:35:09ZPhilippe May

The memory doesn't decrease when a layer is removed.
Gisaf - Feature #9538 (New): Download shapefile of raw survey points facility - TO BE REMOVED?https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/95382020-01-07T09:05:53ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

When points are moved from one table to another through reconciliation (e.g. one point has been surveyed as a vege-palm point, but it was wrong, so it shall move under topo-mistakes), the changes happen at V-SURV level, not at the raw level. Thus, raw points are not moved from one table to another. This helps keep record of the changes done, but at the same time, if any user downloads raw points from Gisaf, he will get raw points without updated changes.
The idea is to drop the "download shapefile of raw survey points "facility from the download menu for each category.
Gisaf - Support #9483 (New): Performance: writing gpkg is slower than shapefileshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/94832019-12-23T11:18:17ZPhilippe MayGIS - Support #7853 (New): Install OpenDroneMap and WebODMhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/78532019-03-08T06:43:24ZPhilippe May

We need to understand the ODM software's capabilities:

use a virtual machine (set up with Windows' Hyper-V on one of the CAD machines)

use pictures taken by Chennai's drone surveyor in Feb. 2019 (reference?)

This ticket involves exploring the software, before eventually using using it in production, which would require a more solid process established after this experience
GIS - Support #7402 (New): Integrate data from well probeshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/74022019-01-10T05:42:16ZPhilippe May

The automatic monitoring system of well levels is done externally (by Talam).
How to integrate it with Gisaf?

Dear Giulio,
Currently we are not transmitting the data that we receive on the gateway to an external server (such as one that Philppe manages) because we are in the testing phase.
However, when we are actually transmitting the data to a server that Philppe or someone manages, then we need two things
1. A cloud server and software that forwards the data to Water Group server. (To be managed by Talam)
2. A software which will receive the data and store it on the server managed by Philppe.
In one of the early discussions, I had mentioned both these two tasks and a cost of Rs.1000/month for #1 but couldn't find any record in emails.
So I'm stating this by email so that both task #1 and #2 are noted by all of us. Please let me know if you need any clarification on these two tasks.

TileServer is not very FOSS friendly:

the free mbtiles files are old (more than 1 year from OSM), paid versions otherwise

TileServer software itself is not well maintained, as it depends from node 6 (current: version 10)

When dry is checked, the level should be greyed out and the "Add value" button enabled

When the depth is known and the dry attribute is True, then set the level measure to the depth of the well

The branch "sanic" gives a version of Gisaf on Sanic/Gino.

But there's no practical solution, as of today, for offering the equivalent of Flask-admin.

This feature request needs to be specified more precisely.
