Redmine GIS - Support #15265 (Resolved): Setup weather station in CSRhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/152652023-11-15T10:59:02ZPhilippe May

That WS AmbiantWeather 2902A was used previously in Sunship by AV Consulting, and is being relocated to CSR office after the failure of our WS (same model).

Track info for setting up the WS here in this ticket.
GIS - Bug #15003 (New): Well level trend computation has opposite sign (minus instead of plus, an...https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/150032023-04-25T10:18:15ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

The well water level trend computed for each well by subtracting the last reading from the previous one, gives the difference with opposite sign: when the last reading is lower than the previous, the trend should be negative, but it is positive. Viceversa, when it should be positive, it is negative...
GIS - Support #14407 (New): UPS received and connectedhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/144072022-08-20T05:16:45ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

This morning we connected the UPS to the server, as once again last night there was a power cut...
Probably you will need to pass by and see if it needs to be configured in a way so that the turning off could be done properly by the UPS itself when the batteries drain out
GIS - Support #13982 (Resolved): Update server's storagehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/139822022-04-28T11:50:44ZPhilippe May

The storage management needs to be updated. There's now an SSD on the server after a failure of HDD, and the partitioning of the setup needs review and update.
GIS - Bug #13885 (Resolved): Wrong name showing in the list of layers in the maphttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/138852022-04-08T10:25:30ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

I tried twice to create a new survey category (Proposed Shed, Status F, name B65) and it was created. But both times, in the list of Building Layers in Gisaf map, instead of the usual "Shed" the newly created "Proposed shed" appeared, with the same number of features as the shed (378 features) but not visualizing them.
It is a category which should not show in the map layers list, as it is used for the status "F" (as we have done for other categories as well), but this time it behaves differently...
GIS - Support #12867 (In Progress): Upgrade server (all virtual machines) to Debian bullseyehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/128672021-09-08T11:53:40ZPhilippe May

Debian 11 (Bullseye) has been released as the "stable" version.

The host (dom0) and almost all VMs run with Debian 10 (Buster), except gisdb, and ned to be upgraded.

This is part of regular maintenance.
GIS - Bug #12701 (Resolved): Weather Station not showing data since 24 July 2021https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/127012021-08-11T10:55:27ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

I just checked the Weather Station graph in the Gisaf Dashboards, and I noticed that there are no data since the 24th of July 2021.
Kindly have a look at it
Thanks
Giulio
GIS - Support #12051 (New): Update pgadminhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/120512021-04-22T07:27:43ZPhilippe May

Pgadmin now has a repository for the correct Debian version (Bullseye).

It was previously installed (on gisdb.csr.av) some time ago, using separately downloaded packages.
GIS - Support #10693 (Resolved): Wrong geometry type for category R54https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/106932020-07-29T11:42:57ZPhilippe May

The import of the survey file CZ-2020-07-27-TS.csv fails with error related to Point vs. Polygon geometries.

The category R54 (V_ROAD_PAVD, status D) was somehow marked as points, whereas the database showed that it was defined as polygons (as it should be obviously).
GIS - Bug #10323 (Resolved): Survey points from Eric Chacra: misc issueshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/103232020-06-11T11:48:55ZPhilippe May

The raw points are in WGS84. That probably explains the issue you noticed with the surveyor data not being assigned after importing the line work.

They were the only import done after the beginning of the lock-down, and were imported still with the old admin.

We need to sort this out, like:

- clean up the database
- reproject the raw survey points file
- import that reprojected file
- re-import the line work layers

Note this also coincides with the new admin baskets.
GIS - Support #10291 (In Progress): Vacuum DB at reboothttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/102912020-06-08T06:39:47ZPhilippe May

There are several reboots of the server due to power cuts.

Gisaf requires that the Postgres database is vacuumed.

There's an
autovacuum
process running (default), unfortunately it seems that it doesn't detect broken databases and doesn't run at start.
GIS - Support #8450 (Resolved): Unable to Load Jupyter Labhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/84502019-06-10T06:46:44ZDebojyoti Mallickdebojyoti.mallick@outlook.com

Setup an off-site backup for the server on Aurinoco's backup (Bacula?).

TODO: define exactly what to backup: database for sure, whole domUs, whole LVM?
