Redmine Gisaf - Support #14770 (New): Birdfont file of Symbolshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/147702023-01-18T07:02:03ZSelvarani C

Hi Philippe,

I have downloaded the birdfont file of yours from Redmine and I have replied the file with new symbols.
Here below i have attached that updated birdfont file, Please find it.
Gisaf - Feature #14712 (New): Installation of fonts in Gisafhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/147122022-12-22T04:53:58ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Fonts for each symbol have been created, using Birdfont. It would be nice to use them to display features in Gisaf map. But the font needs to be installed into Gisaf first, and I don't know how to do it...
Tree Trail - Feature #14574 (New): Different icons for plantshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/145742022-10-23T10:36:54ZPhilippe MayTree Trail - Support #14573 (New): Add fields for trees (Island's)https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/145732022-10-22T09:53:42ZPhilippe May

please refer the attached image
Gisaf - Feature #12714 (New): Dana well correction factor changedhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/127142021-08-16T04:35:43ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Tom has reported that the well head (distance between the top of the casing and the ground level) of Dana well has changed, being +0.86 meters from the ground, starting from the 26th of July 2021.
Before the correction factor needed to calculate the well water level as referenced to the mean sea level was +0.18 m (meaning 18 cm above ground level).
From the 26th of July 2021, according to Tom, the correction factor has become +0.86 meters.

The problem now is that for Dana we have all readings (referenced to the sea level) before the 26 July 2021 calculated using 0.18 m, and from the 26 July 2021 a value of 0.86 m should be used instead.

How to do this in Gisaf so that it can be displayed automatically without compromising previous readings?

Before the 26th of July 2021, readings were computed by Gisaf as follows:
Reading referenced on mean sea level = altitude (48 m) + correction factor (0.18 m) - well reading
Example: on the 29th march 2021, the reading was 24.54, so the reding on sea level was 48 + 0.18 - 24.54 = 23.64 m

After the 26th of July 2021, the computation should instead be as follows:
Reading referenced on mean sea level = altitude (48 m) + correction factor (0.86 m) - well reading

So, for the 26 July 2021: Tom's reading was 26.74, the value referenced to sea level shall be: 48 + 0.86 - 26.74

Bala will go on entering the values into Gisaf, deducting the new correction factor instead of the old one. But the computation with respect to the sea level should be done now differently.

How to do it?

Giulio
Gisaf - Support #11966 (New): QGIS Graphical Modeler https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/119662021-03-30T09:36:32ZSelvarani C

We built a model to make automatic export of shapefile/geopackage into .dxf format after re-projecting so to avoid errors. The model is attached here
The model works fine using data from postgis directly.
The model can be exported into python simply clicking on "Export as Script Algorithm..."
It might be worth to explore the possibility of exporting multiple layers using something similar.
Gisaf - Documentation #11648 (New): Styling categorieshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/116482021-01-27T07:12:26ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

What is the syntax to style a dashed line with round line cap? in the existing styled layers I could find the syntax for dash lines, for the color, the width, the opacity. But what other possibilities are there? is it possible to have a line with a pattern (like small squares in between line segments, see attached file), and which are the possible patterns? is it possible to create custom patterns? if yes, how is it to be done? and what is the syntax to set it in the category setting through the Admin interface?

Thanks

Giulio
