The well water level trend computed for each well by subtracting the last reading from the previous one, gives the difference with opposite sign: when the last reading is lower than the previous, the trend should be negative, but it is positive. Viceversa, when it should be positive, it is negative...
GIS - Support #14895 (New): Backup the whole serverhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/148952023-03-18T09:08:20ZPhilippe May

Today I tried to connect QGis to the PostGIS layers in Gisaf, as usual.
But I got the error message as in the attached screenshot
GIS - Documentation #12077 (New): Reorganize the Wikihttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/120772021-04-28T12:09:40ZPhilippe May

Giulio told me (Phil) that the wiki has been "flatten" (all pages merged in a single page).

The reason was to be able to export the whole documentation as a single file.

But, it makes editing more difficult, the structure less flexible and more difficult to nagivate, and as the documentation grows the single page becomes heavier and heavier.

I quickly checked and found that Redmine has an option to export all the pages in a wiki as a single document, which should address the initial concern.

See here: https://www.redmine.org/issues/3463. In short, one just needs to go to an index ("Index by title", on the right), then just click one of the option in "Also available in: " (PDF, HTML)

So i suggest that the wiki is re-organized with several, small pages.
GIS - Documentation #11506 (New): Article on wells levels graphshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/115062020-12-21T11:11:08ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

The linework for infrastructure survey carried out by Eric Chacra in May 2020 was originally imported with a problem of ambiguity in the "Accuracy" table and in the "Accuracy" table.
The result was that lines did not inherit the attributes survey date, accuracy, equipment, surveyor.
Nevertheless lines were displayed on the Gisaf map, without these attributes, and tags were given to some of these lines.

The values for the two tables ("Accuracy", "Accuracy") have been corrected, ambiguity resolved.
The lines in the layers V-ELEC-UGND------E and V-COMM-CABL------E have been then reimported, the attributes have been properly assigned, and the tags have been retained.

As discussed, the formula Q = C*I*A will be instead in the form of V = C*R*A, where Q (flow in the unit of time) is replaced by V (volume of run-off), and I (intensity of rainfall in the unit of time) is replaced by R (Rainfall).
To be able to proceed, we need to use the vegetation classification shapefiles as generated by Selvarani on the raster created by Pavneet, and incorporate in the calculation parameters like:
- infiltration
- evapotranspiration
- threshold of effective rainfall to generate run-off
- antecedent conditions of the soil wetness
- imperviousness of surfaces (buildings, platforms, roads, etc)

I have copied the initial raster of the orthophoto mosaic from the drone as done by GKE Survey (Chennai Company) in the Samba folder: it is an .ecw file, which is readable by qgis
