Redmine GIS - Support #15345 (Resolved): Add permissions to the database to Selvaranihttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/153452024-02-06T10:30:14ZPhilippe May

After a discussion about the decommission of the "old admin", it was agreed to give Selvarani enough permissions on the database so she can use pgadmin as a replacement.
Gisaf - Support #15315 (Resolved): Gisaf is not Connectedhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/153152024-01-03T05:33:55ZSelvarani C

This Morning the server was off, so i turned it ON.
but still the Gisaf is not connecting.

The error is "Network error:Bad Gateway"
GIS - Support #15276 (Resolved): Setup ecowitt2mqtt for weather station to mqtthttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/152762023-11-27T09:25:22ZPhilippe May

Try to collect WS data without the need for cloud service, using the existing mqtt service running on the server.

After changing the organisation of config/settings, the integrated tileServer shows nothing.

I temporarily changed the default background on gis.avcsr.org as a workaround.
GIS - Feature #15270 (New): Record well sensor data (mqtt)https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/152702023-11-22T14:58:45ZPhilippe May

Ram (rkris@wisense.in) has set up a "gateway" to collect well water sensor (to start with).

The mqtt messages arrive directly on the server. See:

That WS AmbiantWeather 2902A was used previously in Sunship by AV Consulting, and is being relocated to CSR office after the failure of our WS (same model).

Track info for setting up the WS here in this ticket.
Gisaf - Task #15252 (In Progress): Gisaf giving an error while importing Johan's filehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/152522023-11-03T11:33:35ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Hi Philippe,
I received updated Optic Fibers files from Johan, for points and for lines (attached here as zip file)
While checking the "OFC Points.shp file", I noticed that he has not kept the same fields naming and structure as we told him some time back, so I tried to adjust field names to our structure, changing the field name and removing the extra field "Position" but I got an error saying "value too long for type character varying (6)" (see attached screenshot).Kindly let me know how to proceed, if possible.

In his Optic Fibers line file (Optical Fibers.shp) he has changed the order of the fields, and added an extra field named "Main Line". He specified that this extra field "Main line" can be deleted. The question to you in this case is: do the fields need to be in the same order as that in Gisaf? if yes, then I will spend a bit of time and reorganize them. Kidly let me know, thanks
Giulio
Gisaf - Bug #15251 (New): Tags not displaying properlyhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/152512023-11-03T10:12:28ZGiulio Di Anastasiogiulioenrica@gmail.com

Ther are a few different isues with tags:
tags for the layer BLDG-PLTF do show in Industrial Zone (recently entered), but do not display at all in Residential Zone (previously entered)
tags for ROAD-PAVD display a double tag, one with "Material: stone", the other with "material: cement and granite". The second one was not entered by Raj
tags "integrity:surveor:1" is almost everywhere...

Kindly have a look at it, if you can.
I hope it is not due to the needed overhaul of the whole libraries...
GIS - Task #7786 (Resolved): To take a photo of Boundary Stone and position https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/77862019-02-27T06:09:07ZPushparaj MuthukrishnanGIS - Task #7608 (New): creating a structure for tagshttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/76082019-02-08T08:33:47ZPavneet Kaurkaur.pavneet22@gmail.com

So far, source as key and L'avenir d'Auroville as value to this key has been assigned.
Gisaf - Feature #7379 (New): Make Gisaf installable (Progressive Web App)https://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/73792019-01-05T12:44:11ZPhilippe May

TileServer is not very FOSS friendly:

the free mbtiles files are old (more than 1 year from OSM), paid versions otherwise

TileServer software itself is not well maintained, as it depends from node 6 (current: version 10)
*

Gisaf - Feature #6099 (New): Sanic/Gino adminhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/60992018-06-26T05:49:59ZPhilippe May

The branch "sanic" gives a version of Gisaf on Sanic/Gino.

But there's no practical solution, as of today, for offering the equivalent of Flask-admin.

See https://github.com/fantix/gino/issues/167 and https://github.com/fantix/gino/issues/260.
Gisaf - Bug #6090 (New): Polygon rendering issuehttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/60902018-06-25T09:39:17ZPhilippe May

Some filled polygon's rendering on the mapbox-gl map don't look nice.
Gisaf - Feature #5618 (Resolved): Export layers as DXFhttps://redmine.auroville.org.in/issues/56182018-04-09T11:55:09ZPhilippe May

Architects work in Autocad, and they would be happy getting DXF files and avoid spending 5 minutes on QGIS.

This feature request needs to be specified more precisely.
