Description

Messages like this are believed to be caused by transient tables. They have only been seen when backing up the JIRA database and not until recently:

mysqldump: Couldn't execute 'show create table `AO_E8B6CC_SYNC_AUDIT_LOG`': Table 'jiradb.AO_E8B6CC_SYNC_AUDIT_LOG' doesn't exist (1146)

When the option is not enabled the same pattern should be reported as a warning (currently it triggers a programming error messages).

History

Another instance while backing up the JIRA DB:

Oct 13 16:01:12 ac001.bafi mysql_bu.sh+mysql[1575]: WARN: mysqldump error(s)#012 Error: Couldn't read status information for table AO_E8B6CC_SYNC_AUDIT_LOG ()

  • Priority changed from Normal to Low

Changed priority to Low because non-existant tables are rare.
