h1. h2. How to change DNS servers?
h2. Automatically
The most convenient solution is Instructions to set DNS servers automatically:
* Android: TBC
* IOS: "Configure DNS: Automatic" (and "Configure IP: Automatic")
* Linux: TBC
* Mac OSX: TBC
* Windows: "Obtain DNS server address automatically" (and "Obtain an IP address automatically")
If the network is not set up correctly, that will not work and you will have to set DNS servers manually (instructions below).
Also, if the Internet connection is via Aurinoco and configuring DNS servers automatically did not work, please contact "Aurinoco support":https://redmine.auroville.org.in/projects/faq/wiki/How_to_contact_Aurinoco
Configuring DNS servers automatically is especially important on portable devices such as a smart phones, tablets and laptops. It allows you to use many networks without having to set DNS servers manually.
