Which Time servers to use?¶
For closest synchronisation with Aurionoco-connected systems use: ntp1.iciti.av, ntp2.iciti.av, ntp3.iciti.av and ntp4.iciti.av
They should be used in conjunction with Aurinoco's DNS service Which_DNS_servers_to_use
There is a known issue synchronising from the Aurinoco network to time servers on the Internet. For this reason using Aurinoco's time servers is especially recommended.
How to set Time servers?¶
Automatically¶
The most convenient solution is set Time servers automatically:- Android: not required; normally synchronised from cell phone network
- Apple IOS: not required; normally synchronised from cell phone network
- Apple Mac OSX: TBC
- Linux: TBC
- Windows: TBC
If the network is not set up correctly, that will not work and you will have to set Time servers manually (instructions below).
Also, if the Internet connection is via Aurinoco and setting Time servers automatically did not work, please contact Aurinoco support
