h1. Change the WiFi name and WiFi password

The WiFi name is also known as the Service Set Identifier (SSID)

"Your device" can be a cell phone, a computer or a tablet.

* Connect your device via Ethernet cable or WiFi to the WiFi router

* Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar.  If that does not display the router's login page, try 192.168.1.1 

* On the router's login page, enter user name and password

** User name: *admin*

** Password: *admin* or *admin12* or *admin123* or *admin@123*

* After logging in ...

* To change the WiFi name

** *Wireless* (tab on the left) > *Wireless Settings*

or

*WLAN* (tab on the left) > *Basic*

** Enter the new *SSID* or *Wireless Network Name*

* To change the password

** *Wireless* (tab on the left) > *Wireless Settings*

or

*WLAN* (tab on the left) > *Security*

** Enter the new *Wireless Password* 

or

Ensure *Encryption* is WPA-2, *Pre-Shared Key Format* is Passphrase then enter the new *Pre-Shared Key*

* Click *Apply Changes* or *Save*.  If you were connected by WiFi, you will be disconnected
