Description

there is an issue importing the V-ROAD-CURB------E shapefile into GISAF. I am attaching a screenshot of the error message. I am following the same procedure as i did for other shapefiles such as V-ROAD-UPVD------E though i didnt face this issue.

The error is quite clear: the geometries should be "polygons", whereas the shapefile you're trying to import defines "multipolygons".

I'll dig a bit more in this example.

Added explicit error message for this case.

In the shapefile given as example, that's geometry 24, which has 2 parts.

By the way, QGis can display the number of parts in each geometry, using the formula: "num_geometries($geometry)". This can help.
