** Is the connection slow for all Internet services?  All websites?  Email etc.?

* If it's just Internet browsing, try various websites to see if they are all affected.

* If it's just emails maybe the problem is with the email server.  Give them time to fix it and re-test.

** For WiFi users

* If the WiFi signal is weak move the modem/router closer to the computer/device using internet. (within 15 mtrs on a direct line of sight) and follow steps 1 to 4.

* If that is not practicable or the WiFi signal is still too low, you may need to upgrade your router to a hi-power wifi model or follow steps 1 to 5;

# If there is a download running, wait for it to finish or pause it

# If you are unable to do the following speed-tests, [[power cycle the network devices]] and try again.

# Test the intranet speed using http://speedtest.aurinoco.net (requires using Aurinoco's DNS service, details at [[Which_DNS_servers_to_use]]).

# Test the Internet speed using http://www.speedtest.net/.  Click on "Change server" and search for Bangalore or Bharti.  Choose Bharti Airtel Ltd, Bangalore.  Click on Go.

# When the tests have finished, take a screen shot of the test results and mail to support@aurinoco.net mentioning the date and time of test.

* If the above steps didn't fix the internet connection speed, contact Aurinoco via [[How to contact Aurinoco?]] with screenshot of the error mentioning the date and time of test.
