How to change the SSID¶

1. Connect your desktop or laptop via Ethernet cable to router.
2. Open any web browser and type 192.168.31.1 in the address bar
3. Following pop-up image should open as shown in the following pic!issue#10114-i1.png!
4. Enter password and hit enter key or click on '->'
5. By default password is 'admin' / if you have forgot your password - [[https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-e&q=how+to+reset+MI+router+admin+password]]
6. Click 'Settings' from the menu at the top of page as shown in the following pic
7. By Default Wi-Fi settings appears as shown in the following pic; Else select Wi-Fi settings
8. Click on 'Disable' radio button, A dialogue box with confirmation to save changes appears - Click on 'Save'.
9. Wait for 30-60 secs for the changes to effect on router.
