The connection is slow. What to do?¶
- Test the speed by clicking here
- Power cycle the network devices
- For GPON Users
- Turn off the router(TP-Link).
- Turn off the Modem.
- Turn on the Modem and wait for all the lights to come on.
- Turn on the router and wait for all the lights to come on.
- Check the speed.
- For Non-Gpon Users
- Turn off the router(TP-Link).
- Turn on the router and wait for all the lights to come on.
- For GPON Users
- Check for the Wi-Fi signal if the Internet is connected wireless.
- If the Wi-Fi signal is low move the modem closer to the computer.
- Upgrade your router to which has higher range.
- Check if there is any is download is running in the background.
- Is the connection slow for all Internet services? All websites? Email etc.?
- If its just Internet browsing, try a different browser.
**If its just emails try a different email client or try to reinstall the email client.
- If its just Internet browsing, try a different browser.
